These beautiful stud earrings are Zuni made with sterling silver and inlayed turquoise, jet, mother of pearl, and coral. In Zuni culture, the "sun face" representes the Sun Father. Typically this sacred symbol features a round face with the forehead split in the middle, rectangular eyes, and a circle for the mouth. Petal like shapes adorn the face like sun rays. These stud earrings are fastened with sterling silver push back closures.
