CHANEL Archimede Seguso 50s Glass Venetian Murano Earrings

These elegant earrings are the result of a collaboration between Italian glass maker Archimede Seguso and Chanel. This style was produced in a variety of colors and sizes and often paired with matching necklaces. These are an beautiful half rich blue and half bright green and have original clip backs on brass backing and functioning perfectly. They are unsigned, but have unmistakably french clip on earring hardware. The Seguso family have been producing glass at Murano, in Venice, since the 14th Century. In the Seventies Archimede Seguso was invited by Chanel to produce a collection of glass jewelry to compliment the brand's fashion collection.
