Amazing handmade necklace with Corn Maiden Kachina doll pendant. This piece is handcrafted by New Mexico artist, Claudette Jaramillo for a raffle at St. Joseph Mission school Gala of 2017. The necklace is made up of 2 strands of turquoise, shell, coral and onyx beads. The Kachina pendant hangs down the center and is full of intricate details, from the silver hand stamped headdress and wings, to the beaded coral and turquoise arms, all the way down to the silver and brass dress shines with wonderful added features. Two silver cones at the end of each strand with a tie tack, hook and loop closure. Kachinas, in Hopi culture, represent a spirit being or a masked dancer representing the free spirit.
