VINTAGE AFGHAN Embroidered 40s/50s Vest • Medium

AFGHAN VEST
Gorgeous Afghan vest from late 1940's, early 50's that has hand done applique work, made in Afghanistan. This piece features wonderful handmade details all throughout the vest. The base material is a rich orange velvet, with touches of gold that shimmer in the light. All the rope/applique details shine in a lovely gold colors. There are two small ties at the top with 3 chain link pieces and tassel balls at the end for a slight closure. Meant to be worn open or tied at the top neckline. Also two medium sized pockets on the front with gray lining. Black nylon lining inside. Such a unique Afghan vest!
